Ferienpark Tennenbronn

We were lucky with our holiday house: it was well kept, had a brand-new kitchen, and sat right beside the forest with a view over it. You could tell the owners care about the house and want visitors to feel at home. Other houses didn't look as appealing in terms of upkeep or location. The park is nice and sits on top of a 'mountain'. A large community pool is close by, though it gets very busy on weekends and local holidays. There wasn't much for our 15-year-old to do in the park itself. The tennis courts were in poor shape, one completely unplayable and the other badly maintained. Wi-Fi worked great, even in a hammock in the forest. Birds and squirrels greeted us each morning, and a couple of foxes came by at dusk.

We enjoyed relaxing and taking in the beautiful German countryside, since beyond the pool and playgrounds there isn't a lot to do. Fresh bread was delivered each morning by a large van, and the big swimming pool is only a 300-meter walk away. The downside was the terrible Wi-Fi. Phone and internet signal were poor as well.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely holiday park, with its playgrounds and forest walking trails.

A fabulous spot, with great walks and good accommodation.
