Landhotel Möllhagen

The restaurant was closed this time, which was disappointing since we ate really well there last year. We found a Greek place nearby instead. Breakfast is self-service with limited options, and it wasn't really to our taste, though that's just our preference. The room was clean but quite old, and some things could use an upgrade. We booked the largest room this time, but the beds weren't very good, which was a letdown. It's fine for a stopover, but I wouldn't suggest staying for long.

We came back and had another lovely stay. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and really nice. The service was excellent and flexible, and the location works especially well when travelling with dogs.

The host was one of the most service-minded people I've ever met, and the place itself is really nice. Just know that almost every restaurant in town is closed in August. For dinner, you need to go next door to the golf restaurant, though you can bring the food back to your hotel room.

The outside and the surroundings are nice, and breakfast was okay. Glad it was included. But the room was very cold, and our window faced the golf course and parking lot. With so many kids around, it wasn't a peaceful place to stay with dogs. We went to a restaurant near the hotel that they recommended, but another staff member seemed annoyed that we were going there too. The staff didn't speak English. I had to call while standing outside, and was told to get the key from their restaurant in another building. No one came out to meet me, which made it tricky since I don't speak German well. I know some German, but they seemed annoyed and didn't think it was enough. This is the first place we've stayed that charged extra for a dog. Usually one or two dogs don't matter. At a lower price, it would have been perfect for a budget night.
