The spa was one of my favorite features. I hardly ran into anyone there, so ask about it when you stay. There’s a large sauna, a steam room, a lovely cave-like shower, and my favorite, a two-seat sauna focused on the back and neck. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I spent several weeks here on business, in a third-floor room in the east wing. It was clean and inviting, with a lovely view toward the train and bus stations, which are very close. There’s a small river behind the hotel, and it’s fairly quiet, especially at night. The bathroom was bright, clean, and quite large. My room also had a large wardrobe, mini fridge, and air conditioning. I’ve heard some rooms don’t have AC, so check if that matters to you. Breakfast was fresh, with coffee, tea, juice, a cappuccino machine, and fresh fruit, vegetables, and bread. A couple of things to be aware of: both levels of the parking garage are tight, and getting into and out of a space takes a few three-point turns. You also need to ask the front desk for a token to exit. Dinner wasn’t my favorite. It works for a meal, but I wouldn’t recommend it more than once or twice, depending on how long you stay.

The room was spacious and clean, though the shower enclosure was so small I could barely move. Breakfast was good, served by the only friendly staff member I encountered. The staff overall weren’t very friendly, but they were efficient. Parking is available for an extra charge. The spa seemed good, but its opening hours weren’t posted or explained, and it only opens in the late afternoon.

The hotel is right by the main station in Schwäbisch Gmünd, which is very convenient. It was newly renovated and very clean, the staff were friendly and professional, and the breakfast buffet was good.

We asked for an extra 30 minutes after checkout and were refused, even though the hotel was empty. Then we wanted to leave the car in their parking lot for three more hours and got charged 4 euros. 👎👎👎

I stayed for 13 days, from 25-06-2022 to 08-07-2022, during some hot weather. The room had AC, which was a real advantage in summer. It was clean, and the hotel is very close to the bahnhof, with friendly staff. The room didn’t have a fridge, though I heard they have some rooms with one. It had three chairs and two tables, but the lighting wasn’t good enough for reading at night. The rooms aren’t new, and you can tell from the carpet and furniture, but it was okay. Breakfast was the same every day, which I think would bother people staying a long time like I did.
