8/10
I've stayed here in both summer and winter, twice in all, and enjoyed it each time. The rooms are consistently clean and fresh-smelling, and the staff are friendly. They were patient with my poor attempts to communicate, since most spoke English much better than I speak German. It's a lovely hotel, though it can get a bit hot in summer.

The service is the standout, with a great, friendly team 👍. The restaurant is nice and the food is tasty, too. The hotel is pleasant and central, right across from "Ring Center". Rooms are spacious, though they feel like they come from West German times years ago. The sauna, by contrast, has been redesigned recently.

The little spa downstairs was a nice extra. Check-in was quick, though only one person spoke even a little English.

Friendly staff, a nice beer garden, and a lovely hotel.

For this price, I expected better compared with other hotels at this level. The breakfast was poor, though the service and staff were very nice.
