We’d paid in advance through Booking.com, but when we arrived, nobody was at the door. On the phone, we were told it couldn’t be done that day, so we had to leave. Booking.com was very helpful and is refunding us. The owner was absolutely rude. Outrageous.

The Schwarzachklamm gorge is an incredible place to hike, with scenery that feels unmatched anywhere in the world. The apartment itself was modern, stylish, and very clean, and regular public transport gets you to Nuremberg city center in 20 minutes. Booking was easy, and the owner was exceptionally friendly while giving me plenty of space. Very happy with the stay.
