The staff were helpful and professional, and easy to talk to. Breakfast, which was included, was lovely, and it's pretty right beside the river. But the Wi-Fi didn't work at all on the second of the two upper floors where guests stay. It could be poor on the first floor too, and only worked in the lobby and dining room on the ground floor, or outside the front door. That was really disappointing. I hope they've improved it since I was there late last year. Also confirming they charge 3.50 euros if you're not a hostel member.

It's a modern, functional building right by the river, which makes you wish you were travelling by boat. Schweinfurt Stadt rail station is only 350m away. Just keep in mind reception and the TV room both close at 8pm, so get any drinks or TV time sorted before they're locked up.

The place was nice, and the food was nice too. The downstairs public toilet smelled bad the whole time. I also wish the Wi-Fi reached the upstairs rooms.

The place and the scenery are good. The only issue for me was the Wi-Fi in the rooms. I had to go to the reception area every time I wanted to use it.

They've made good use of a small piece of land with very modern facilities right beside the canal. The railroad tracks are on the other side.
