The staff were really friendly, and the place was clean.
We paid 140 euros for a double room from December 1st to 3rd. It was spacious and clean, and there was a kitchen where we could cook, but no breakfast. Staff were nowhere to be seen after checking us in. There wasn’t a note with the Wi-Fi password, so I had to ask other guests. If you weigh 90 kg or more, the bed slats may slip out of their grooves. We had to get them fixed three times. On checkout, we just left the key in the door from the outside, and only the other guests said goodbye. This place is not worth the money!!!
After a quick phone call, we could arrive outside reception hours, and parking in front of the house was free. Tram line 2 is close by, and a day ticket made it easy to get into the city center and to the famous Schwerin Castle. It’s a decent, reasonably priced guesthouse on the outskirts of Schwerin.
The breakfast was very good, with fresh coffee, fruit and vegetables. It cost an extra 5 euros. For a great price, we got a good double room that was what we expected for that price category. Everything was clean and tidy. We’d recommend this guesthouse for a short trip to Schwerin.
