The apartment is in a really convenient spot, with shops, a bakery, restaurants and a cinema close by, and the courtyard is lovely and very quiet. The price seemed reasonable too. Parking nearby is €5 a day in public spaces with a ticket. We always found a space somewhere, and payment worked with coins, not bills, or through the ParkNow app. Apartment no. 1 is cute but very small. There’s a sofa and kitchenette with a refrigerator downstairs, then two beds upstairs. The stairs are steep enough that I’d be careful on them first thing in the morning, and a better handrail upstairs would help. The beds are separate, though they could easily be turned and pushed together, which would be nicer for couples. There’s no blind on the skylight, and a pleated blind in the glass panel of the front door would be useful too. The kitchen has the basics, but we missed a cooking spoon and a pot holder. The universal remote is also awkward: P+ changes the input source instead of the channel. Meals are at a high table with bathroom chairs, which is a matter of taste. Our stay was okay, but we’re unsure we’d come back.

We arrived to find the apartment had been double-booked, despite booking through booking.com. It took three frustrating hours to find somewhere else, and the alternative accommodation was 30 km away. I absolutely can’t recommend this.

I was satisfied, though getting there is difficult at the moment.
