The place itself is cozy and the location is nice, but the food was awful. The kids' spätzle was inedible, and I couldn't finish the 25 euro schnitzel because it was so tough. For that price, what a letdown. The waitress wasn't friendly and was coughing all over the place. At least the company we were with was excellent. A Bavarian restaurant needs to make good Bavarian food, and that just isn't happening here. I won't eat here again.

I loved my stay! The rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The hotel and restaurant were both really good, with tasty German-style food at normal prices.

The breakfast buffet was incredible, with lots of fresh fruit, juice, meats, and tea. The rooms are amazing and modern, and the restaurant has good Bavarian food at reasonable prices.

The kids' loo was the nicest I've ever seen, and the food was great. It's an especially child-friendly place, with a lovely playground and animals to see and pet, plus inexpensive food options for children. Staff were friendly too.

If you're after local food, this is a must visit. It's the most authentic Bavarian place in the Wessling-Gilching area, with great food and an amazing interior. Don't go on Sunday without an appointment. The staff know little English, so it's better if you know your German.
