After trying a few hotels while passing through, I was lucky to find Maak Hotel. There was only one room available, and it certainly wasn’t the best, but I had a great stay. Spotless cleanliness, professionalism and friendliness both 10 out of 10, excellent products and a very good restaurant. The price was excellent too. I recommend it.

The beds were comfortable, breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly. My only complaints were that there was no kettle and the room had just one pillow and duvet. The pillow was far too soft, and the duvet was quite small, more like a small single.

I was in single room # 111 in an annex behind the main building. It was clean and OK, though a little old-fashioned. The restaurant was OK too, but the menu was limited. As I remember, there were only 15 options in total across starters, soups, meals, and desserts.

A quiet, quaint spot about a 30-minute drive from Hamburg city center. The staff were warm and caring, and the food was amazing.

They made sure we had everything we needed and helped us so much from the moment we arrived. The service was the best we’ve ever experienced, and everyone was incredibly welcoming. The owner is such a lovely person. I REALLY recommend this wonderful hotel! From family Damgaard
