Our hosts were kind and helpful, and the apartment was so clean that we felt comfortable there throughout our nine days in Cochem. Haus Mosella Apartment 1 is around 2 km from the market square, roughly a 20-minute walk. We’d be glad to return. Many thanks and warm regards to the hosts from the Lipski family.

The beds were firm and comfortable, and the landlords were friendly. The apartment was clean, though somewhat dated, and the shower felt much too small. From the attic room, you could only see the view while standing, and the Wi-Fi signal was weak. It sits across from the Moselle River, about a 15-minute walk outside the town center, with a bakery and supermarket around the corner. Getting to the apartment meant climbing 53 steps past apartments 3 and 4.

Our landlord greeted us in person and was friendly and accommodating, with useful suggestions for restaurants and places to see. The apartment had everything we needed. You can hear traffic outside, especially around rush hour, though it was moderate with the windows closed and no more noticeable than in a big city. We spent most of our holiday out of the apartment anyway, and highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed staying at Haus Mosella in Cochem Sehl, right by the Moselle. There’s a Penny Markt and artisan bakery just around the corner, plus a bus stop outside and parking on site. The apartment is modern and has everything you could want. Its soundproof windows keep the traffic on the Moselle road barely noticeable. The landlady was very friendly and helpful.
