We first stayed at Haus Erholung in 2015, my wife and I, and quickly fell in love with it. The owners were genuinely kind, the breakfast had a huge selection, the rooms were immaculate, and the location was handy, about a 10 minute walk to the "old town" in Cochem. We returned in 2022 with our two young children, and everything was just as good as we remembered. The rooms were super clean, and the owners were so friendly, though the younger generation mostly runs things now. Breakfast was top quality, with loads of bread, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cheese, and more. They were also thoughtful about the kids, setting up our breakfast table in a separate room with a play area so mom and dad could eat in peace! 😀 I can see why Haus Erholung is so highly rated, and I agree. Strongly recommend it. We'll definitely come back. The picture is from our apartment, with an unbeatable view of the Mosel!
