Messe und Monteurzimmer Sehnde

We booked this place for an overnight stop while driving and had a private room with its own kitchen and bathroom. The room was renovated and in good shape, and the host communicated well and was very welcoming. There are shared rooms with shared toilets and bathrooms too, so check which type you're booking.

A dirty, grimy place that's being renovated.

Inside, the room was spacious and in very good shape, with a nice shower and even a kitchenette. The rooms seem to vary, so I can't say what the others are like. We only stayed one night, and the price made it a decent stopover. Arriving after dark was confusing, and the outside didn't look appealing or make it clear where to go. It looked a little better in daylight, but still wasn't attractive. This wouldn't suit us for a longer stay in a pretty setting, though at that price we weren't expecting one. For a cheap transit stop, it was fine.

Having a private bathroom and refrigerator was handy, but the fridge was incredibly noisy. The kitchen setup was barely a kitchen: an induction hob with cookware that wasn't suitable for it, and no oven, though there was a microwave. I wouldn't choose to stay there again.
