We tried the Wiener Schnitzel, which was delicious, and the Matjes, which was good. The mini smokys were our favourite. Service was friendly, and there’s plenty of parking. Highly recommend.

The in-house smoked potatoes are a side dish I still dream about, and the other smoked specialties were great too. The food and drinks were superb, and the staff were spectacular. The rustic, almost log-cabin decor made for a nice atmosphere. It’s a bit outside the city, but well worth the drive for lunch.

The beer was great, the traditional German food was delicious, and it all came at a reasonable price. A lovely, laid-back setting for a meal. Well worth visiting.

The pommes frites were the best I’ve ever had. We had a drink and a meal outside; the inside felt a little spooky, but in a funny and somehow beautiful way. I’d eat and drink there again.

The restaurant serves a really good gourmet Schnitzel. The rooms are little two-floor apartments, and the area by the lake is lovely for walks.
