Hotel Villa Lila

Dear Villa Lila team, we stayed with you last weekend. I have to say, the experience left me feeling a bit drained.

There’s lots of parking right outside the hotel and nearby, and getting there by car is easy from the A3 or A45, just 2.5 km away. Our room was very clean, with a roomy bathroom and shower cubicle. The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a charming little family-run conference hotel that also takes overnight guests. Check-in was simple: we used the code arranged beforehand to get the key from the box at the entrance.

We started by looking for a seminar room and quickly found Villa Lila. Its bright, modern spaces caught our eye, and the price compared very well with other venues in the area. After meeting the owner, Ms. Kuhn, we knew it was the right place. Renting the room was an easy, pleasant process. We used the large seminar room and did some of the decorating ourselves. Our participants loved the atmosphere and facilities, especially the nature view, the spacious terrace for breaks, and the coffee machine. We’ll be holding another event at Villa Lila. I’d definitely recommend it.

The booking and check-in were easy, and the Hotel Garni was in a great location for us. The breakfast was okay, with a decent selection, though we felt the sweet spreads in the little plastic packets weren’t very fresh. The room itself looked quite worn and was poorly furnished. There were lots of stains and holes in the wall plaster, especially below the air conditioner, and a bathroom spotlight was hanging completely out of its socket. The bathroom also didn’t seem clean, with rust, limescale, and dirt marks all over. Things need repairing, replacing, or modernizing at some point. The hotel was incredibly noisy, too. For us, the price didn’t really match what we got, and the star rating doesn’t reflect that. We’d give it 2.5 stars.
