The owner lives in the house and is such a warm, lovely person. There was no outdoor seating area right at the accommodation, but we felt incredibly comfortable. Five couples shared a delicious breakfast at the large table from 9 to 10 am. The property has four individually and lovingly furnished rooms, each with its own bathroom, as well as a large holiday apartment with two bedrooms. It's exceptionally beautiful, with antique furniture, and there's a large free parking lot next door. The Deis winery is highly recommended for its wine tasting and game dishes. Cochem is 20 minutes away. Winery

We were cycling along the Moselle, and this place worked perfectly for us. The rooms are beautifully furnished and lived up to what I expected. There isn't a breakfast buffet, but they provide everything for a good breakfast: different rolls, bread, fruit, cold cuts like sausage, ham and cheese, a boiled egg, and unlimited coffee or tea. The hostess was lovely. There's no air conditioning, so summer might get warm, though the thick walls help keep it bearable.

The rooms were quiet, lovely and spotless, and breakfast was beautifully arranged with everything we could want. Our hostess was warm and accommodating, always ready with advice or help. We also got an excellent restaurant recommendation, top marks for that. It's a great base for hiking, cycling or water sports. We'd love to return and see you again.

Parking and a bus stop were close by, which was handy. The common areas were beautifully put together, and the clean rooms had tasteful furnishings. Our hostess was so kind and helpful, and breakfast was fantastic, with fresh rolls from the bakery. We were happy from the moment we arrived and would love to come back. Thanks for a wonderful time.

A great base for bike rides, hikes or simply taking it easy. The house has a games room with billiards and darts, and there's a lockable garage for bicycles. We got a warm, friendly welcome. The rooms were very clean with excellent beds, and the breakfast buffet was lovingly prepared and could be refilled whenever needed. The house is full of beautiful paintings and tasteful antiques. Thank you for a wonderful May vacation! Achim + Sabine Hermes
