Breakfast was satisfying, with options for special diets, including gluten-free food, which is rare. The rest of the stay was okay, though I found the floors noisy around the entrance and in the room above mine, number 130. The walls didn’t block sound very well either. I couldn’t find much of interest nearby, and it rained the whole time. As a picky eater, I was surprised the shopping mall in Siegen had neither a McDonald's nor a KFC.

The standout was the staff: everyone was so friendly and willing to help, which made for an amazing stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, and cozy, and both the restaurant and breakfast were good. Thanks to the whole team.

The hotel welcomes dogs, which was a great bonus, and the staff were friendly. The rooms and surroundings were lovely and clean. Breakfast offered lots of choices, though the food itself was very average. The coffee and juice were nice.

Dinner was good and reasonably priced, but the service was awful. After finishing my main course, I waited more than 45 minutes for someone to offer dessert. I eventually gave up and left. Without a car, the town is miles away, so I had dinner at the hotel. Getting to reception and breakfast also meant a difficult 500-metre walk along icy paths. My basic room had no fridge or kettle, just one chair and a tiny shower. I wouldn’t stay here if you’re hungry or tired.

Set in a pretty wooded valley near Siegen, this is a large complex with plenty of parking and good food. It includes a hotel, restaurant, church, sports hall, and meeting facilities. My room was amazingly spacious.
