Hotel Pension Alt Heidenberg

Fine.

Fantastic place. My room was clean and really spacious, with a TV. There’s a shared kitchen for boiling water and making tea, plus a free coffee machine with cookies and cream. Edeka is very close, which makes picking up groceries easy.

I called at 1 a.m. and they still found a way to accommodate me, while other hotels were already bookable. The owner was really kind, speaks Russian, and made me feel welcome, almost like being at home. :) The room had its own bathroom and there was internet, plus a shared kitchen where you could cook for free and get coffee or tea. It’s a great place, I recommend it.

The rooms were spotless, including the bedroom and toilet, and the staff were kind and friendly. They speak several languages. I could leave my car in the lot as long as I needed without paying, and we were able to keep our bicycles in the garage too. Even though some rooms face the street, I didn’t hear any cars at night and slept in comfortably. It’s a great value and hard to beat at this price. I’d strongly recommend it if, like me, you don’t need a five-star hotel.
