Ferienhof Alte Wildmeisterei - Fewo Gartenblick

The Koch family made us feel at home right away, even giving us fresh eggs from their own chickens when we arrived. We spent Easter there with friends and loved the beautiful property, tucked among nature. Mr. and Mrs. Koch said they’re over 70, which makes the care they put into keeping everything so neat and well maintained all the more impressive. Thanks for such lovely days!

The hiking and exploring nearby were a lovely part of our short break in Siegmundsburg. Our apartment was clean, tidy, and laid out well, and Mrs. Koch gave us such a friendly welcome. We’ll remember the holiday and our host family fondly for a long time.

We’ll be back for sure. The Koch family were such lovely hosts, and the apartments have been furnished with care. We especially enjoyed the freshly tapped beer and eggs straight from the farm. It’s a great base for walks and outings in the ridge areas of the Thuringian Forest, with Sonneberg and Lauscha very close by. Many thanks to the Mühlpforts for a lovely little break! 😀

The Kochs were attentive, wonderful hosts, and the apartment’s lovely setting is just right for a family with children. We hope we can visit them again next year.
