Natalia really made our stay special. She was so warm and welcoming, and couldn’t have done more for us. The hotel itself is large and spacious, with a rambling feel and lots of antique character, including stained glass windows. We also liked the cozy bar, its good local beer, and breakfast, especially the decent coffee, a rare find in Germany. Such a charming stay, thanks!

Everything felt professionally run, and it was a delight to stay here. The beds were wonderful, the bathroom spotless, and breakfast was delicious. The room was thoughtfully set up, with lovely linen and plenty of pillows. The woman at the desk was a joy to deal with, and it was really good value.

We loved sitting on the terrace for a beer, and breakfast was very good. The hotel feels like a magical old haunted fairy tale, with antique wooden furniture. We brought our big dog and got a warm welcome from the host. There’s a beautiful ancient forest just 50 meters away, perfect for an early morning walk. Highly recommended!

We barely spent time inside the hotel, but would recommend it. The rooms were well prepared, the staff were helpful, and although the hotel is basic, we were happy with our choice for our six-night stay. The walks nearby are so lovely and joyful, with trees all around.

We’d read a lot of reviews, some positive and many really awful, but we were curious and politely asked the owner whether she had a room available for our arrival date and whether breakfast was included. Her reply was curt and dismissive, with no greeting at all, and it completely took us aback. It unfortunately confirms the reviews that mentioned this kind of rudeness. Such a shame, as we would have liked to come and give it a chance, but that sort of start doesn’t leave you feeling good.
