I had to cancel my booking three weeks in advance, but the staff were extremely hostile and wouldn’t discuss any possible refund, not even 1%. I ended up paying the full reservation despite never using it. When I called to try to negotiate, they hung up and then avoided my calls. It’s sad to see people who act this way running a business.

We booked a beach sleeping chair for August 2025 and cancelled within the cancellation period. The cancellation was confirmed, but after several reminders to the rental company, we’re still waiting for the refund. Today my review was flagged as fake, which is outrageous. I can provide proof of the booking and cancellation at any time. Your comment makes it clear you know what happened. If you really thought it was fake, you wouldn’t have replied so calmly; you would have taken a different approach. Is this how you treat paying customers? We reserve the right to take legal action.

The location is great, and the price is good for what you get. Every apartment has a parking space, and booking at short notice is easy. Arrival times are flexible too. We’ve stayed twice so far, and bringing a dog is no problem. I can definitely recommend it!

Stay away. The rooms are much smaller than they look in the photos, and there was mold in the bedroom. We had a baby with us and asked the landlord for another room after pointing out the mold. He said nothing was available and that he’d remove it with vinegar. We said no because we didn’t want fumes in the room. While we were out, he went in anyway and used mold remover instead, which is even more toxic than vinegar for a baby. We got back just as he was finishing, and couldn’t use the room for the baby to sleep in anymore. When we asked for a price reduction because we hadn’t received the quality we paid for, he called us greedy. The price for what you get is completely unacceptable. We won’t stay here again.

We’ve stayed at the Nautic Strandhotel several times and always enjoy coming back. Despite the name, it’s really a holiday apartment complex, with comfortable furnishings and apartments of different sizes depending on what you book. They’re all decorated with care. If a knife is missing or a chair is wobbly, the welcoming host, Ingo Paetow, is there to help, provide a replacement, or find a solution. Parking for cars and bicycles is easy, and the location is fantastic. We’ve always felt at home here.
