I remember taking a really lovely morning walk during my stay. The staff were so kind and considerate, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend Karls Hotel if you’re traveling to Sigmaringen.

The sauna and jacuzzi were nice surprises, and I liked the candy jar at reception. We had a great stay and an amazing breakfast. The only thing I’d change is adding a second chair to the room. Highly recommended!

The only small drawback is that a minibar or fridge isn’t included automatically. You have to request one ahead of time and pay extra. Otherwise, the hotel was amazing. It’s in a beautiful spot, with a lovely garden along the Danube River and the castle just across the way. The rooms are spacious, and having a castle view feels like a dream. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of sweet and savory choices.

The setting by the water was so peaceful, with ducks and swans and a view of the castle from the back. We had a really comfortable room, and everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful throughout our one-night stay in Sigmaringen. Breakfast was great too. There’s lots to do nearby, from hiking and biking to sightseeing. We loved staying at Karls Hotel and would happily recommend it.

8/10
The room was great, and it was handy that the toilet and shower were separate. The staff were extremely helpful and all spoke English, which helped since my German is pretty rusty. My only minor hassle was the balcony door thermostat: opening the door disables it, which makes sense, but after we came back in and shut the door it stayed locked. Around 11 at night, a staff member had to come up and call someone to reset it. Nothing major, just inconvenient.
