The converted old stable, now an Irish pub, was where they served a simple but delicious buffet breakfast. Our ground-floor room was beautiful and spacious, with a large bathroom and a nice hot shower. The curved ceiling was an unexpected touch of German architecture. We arrived late in the evening, and the owner called to check our arrival time, said he'd leave a light on, and asked whether we'd like breakfast. Check-in was quick and easy. Everyone on staff was friendly and welcoming. I'd recommend staying here.

The staff were friendly and kept checking if we needed anything. It's a cozy spot for a meal with family or friends, though the food was just okay. We went on Wednesday for the mega burger at the regular price.

The hamburger was awful, with dry bread and overcooked meat, and the restaurant was dirty and smelled bad. The waitress was rude, acting as if taking our order was a favor even though she wasn't busy. I had to ask three times for a second beer. We have family nearby, but I'm never eating there again. Never.

The knight's hall is great for bigger parties, and there's an old Bailey. The burgers and self crafted beer were very tasty.
