The kitchen is pretty cool, and I got to meet the owner early when we were leaving. They’re really nice. We had a lake view with amazing autumn colours in the distance. Sadly, a storm meant we couldn’t go on long hikes, but there’s a lovely little walk at the lake’s mouth that’s suitable for different ages if you want to see some nature.

We rented the apartment on the first floor, and it was perfect for four people. There are two large bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and everything was very clean. The terrace looks out over the Eifel forest. It’s ideally located for hiking in the national park, and the value for money is excellent. The owners were easy and friendly to communicate with. I highly recommend it.

A clean room, a great location, and friendly communication. Everything was straightforward, from booking through check-in to paying. We stayed here while walking the Wilderness Trail. The bistro next door is good for breakfast too. Highly recommended.

The pea soup was warm, but it didn’t have much flavor and wasn’t anything special, probably from a can. It had vinegar in it too. I wouldn’t go back.

The room was modern, tidy, and very clean, with a spacious bathroom and a lovely balcony looking out on the forest. The people were really friendly. The only little drawback was the sliding glass wall between the bedroom and bathroom. It looks nice, but you can hear and see everything on the other side, so I don’t think it’ll suit everyone. 😅😅
