The stillness in Simonsberg was what made this stay so relaxing. Even though we live somewhere quiet at home, the sea air and reeds rustling by the terrace made it feel special. There’s a small playground within sight, too. The holiday home itself is charming and cozy, painted Swedish red. Highly recommended.

We felt comfortable in this lovely, well-equipped holiday home, even when the weather was bad. Mr. Horn also got back to us promptly when a couple of small issues came up during our stay.

We stayed in September and used the cozy holiday home behind the dike as a base for day trips to Husum, Büsum, St. Peter-Ording, and elsewhere. A walk right along the dike is nice in its own way, too. It’s a good spot to get away from the crowds, especially during the coronavirus pandemic.

The cottage was clean, cozy, and nicely furnished, and I slept really well in the bed. A good place to get away from the everyday routine. I’d definitely recommend Simonsberg and the North Sea cottages.
