The only small drawback was the large balcony. It was quite noisy, and a sail was the only divider between two apartments. We were lucky with our neighbors, so it worked out fine. Inside, the holiday apartment was very clean and tastefully furnished, with a simple kitchen that had the essentials. The landlady was incredibly friendly and always available. The kids had table tennis, billiards, and foosball, parking was right outside, and there was a garage for bikes. We can wholeheartedly recommend this Lake Constance gem.

After we asked about three apartments that were listed as available on the website and other booking portals, we were told they were being held for regular guests who were still waiting for their employers to confirm holiday dates. We asked a friend to inquire about the same apartment for the same dates, only without children, and by the next morning he had a confirmation and offer. Make of that what you will. We found the host extremely unprofessional and unreliable.

We keep coming back to the Flower Idyll guesthouse, and this was already our third stay. It's always very clean, with a fantastic view even at the end of September. Parking is right in front of the house, and the landlady is especially warm and welcoming. There's also a restaurant right on the lake.

The whole process, from booking and confirmation to payment and guest cards, was hassle-free. The apartment, kitchen, appliances, and bathroom were super clean, and the kitchen was very well equipped. It's a quiet spot with a great outdoor area. Having a designated parking space at the house was a big help, since parking elsewhere in Sipplingen is quite an ordeal at the moment. The host/landlady was very friendly. We hope to stay here again next vacation ;-)

The landlady was top-notch, and everything was within easy walking distance. The surrounding scenery is beautiful, and the apartment had all the comforts we could ask for, along with a unique view of Lake Constance. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay in the fantastic holiday apartment Lilie 👍
