The family room was nicer than it looked in the photos, clean and well prepared, with all the beds made. They brought the baby bed up quickly too. We could hear some kitchen noise from below, but it stopped around 9-10pm. The hotel is near a park in Soltau, and the center is an easy walk away.

We stayed in a family room with our five-year-old son. It was a good size, and the staff were friendly. Dinner at the steakhouse was lovely, and breakfast was amazing with plenty to eat. There's a great park for kids nearby, and Heide Park theme park is very close. I'd absolutely recommend the hotel.

We enjoyed a really good dinner in the restaurant downstairs after arriving late, and the kitchen stayed open until 21.30. Breakfast deserves a special mention too. The family room was tidy and a good size for us, with great window shades that let the kids sleep an extra hour. The hotel sits in lovely surroundings, has a terrace and kids' play area, and is conveniently close to Soltau centre and Heide Park theme park.

Very close to Heide Park, with parking available. The rooms are exceptionally clean, and everything looks much better in person than in the photos. There's a restaurant too, and the food is very good.

Not bad, and the funny name aside, the accommodation is quite okay. Breakfast is extremely plentiful, on a par with a Mercure or similar. The attached steak restaurant is pretty good too. I had the single room: it looks small but is fine, and the bathroom has a roomy shower. There was no outside noise, though the clock built into the bed ticks pretty loudly.
