We were on our way home from southern Germany and had such a nice evening. The weather was lovely, so we ate out in the "Biergarten," and the food was as good as ever. Everyone was friendly. The room is basic, but clean, with good beds and everything we needed. Being able to bring our dogs is a big plus for us. We enjoyed our stay at Alter Posthof again and will definitely come back.

A last-minute stay during fieldwork turned out to be a real find along the Rhine. The team made us feel right at home, and the hotel was warm and welcoming. Our room was in fantastic condition, and the food was excellent.

The location was quiet and the food was good, but the service was disappointing. Nobody came to help when I went down for breakfast, and I wasn't told how to get into my room or when breakfast and dinner were served. The room and hotel could both use some refurbishment.

We stopped here on September 8th to break up a journey. The traditional food was wonderful, though you really need to book a table for dinner. The rooms were very comfortable.

Eating in the garden was delightful, and parking there was very convenient. The staff were friendly and breakfast was wholesome, though the menu wasn't written in English.
