Landhotel Tannenhof

Great service.

We were pleasantly surprised and would definitely come back. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the restaurant was spacious and nicely laid out, and the food was plentiful and well presented, sometimes almost too plentiful. The spa is great: a good-sized pool, several saunas at different temperatures, loungers, and a nice changing area with lockers. The panoramic windows by the pool look out over the valley. Cleanliness is clearly a priority there, and our room was spotless too, one of the cleanest we've stayed in. Our room, on the outskirts of Spiegelau, was a little dated, with furniture from around the 90s, but the amenities were excellent: a small kitchenette with a fridge and freezer compartment, kettle, pots, and dishes. The small bathroom made good use of its space. We took two points off because the rooms are very noisy. There was also a group of young skiers, a school class, staying at the same time who showed no consideration.

We had a lovely, cozy Christmas stay with the country hotel's restaurant team. The room furniture was a bit dated, but everything was clean and worked well. We were there for four nights on a bus tour with E*** Travel. Our tour guide had several disagreements with the restaurant manager and/or owner, but at our table, the only fun one, we had no complaints. We talked directly with the hotel and restaurant staff, who had things exceptionally well organized and responded positively to criticism. We had a wonderful time. Dinner was fantastic, especially the varied Christmas Eve menu, partly buffet, with a particularly good cheese platter. Breakfast was more than adequate, with something for everyone. A special hello to the solo entertainer on December 23, 2025. That was great! And greetings to our fun-loving table, the "hard core" as our tour guide called us. I wonder why?

We had a wonderful winter holiday, and would love to come back. Everyone on staff was incredibly friendly and always tried to meet guests' wishes. The food was superb: with half-board we had a delicious five-course dinner every evening. Our room was large and clean, and we enjoyed the pool and saunas. Thanks for a great stay.
