The little stream just outside became the kids’ favorite place to play, and they loved being around the chickens, horses, and cats. Inside, the apartment was spotless and thoughtfully laid out, with the living room separable from the dining area and bedrooms. That made family life easier, especially when the children needed a quiet midday rest. The fly screens were sturdy, too. We found it just as lovely as the photos, peaceful and carefully furnished. There’s a cupboard of games and Lego in the stairwell, plus books for different ages and brochures with ideas for outings. You can also buy fresh eggs from the farm and local treats. Our hosts made us feel at home from the start, and their kindness was the reason we wanted to write. We’re grateful for such a lovely getaway.

The apartment itself was one of the best our family has stayed in. Everything felt carefully chosen and suited to the place, with no sense that unwanted things had simply been put out for guests. My complaint is about the local council. We thought the tourist tax was excessive: €50 for the option to take a bus to the next village, without even including admission to the Black Forest House nearby.

The big balcony was lovely for relaxing, and there was a grill available, with parking right outside. A small stream runs behind the house, adding to the beautiful setting. The apartment had plenty of room for four adults and two children and was set up in a very practical way. We stayed in May this year, and the Kraus family made us feel very welcome in their beautiful, comfortable holiday home. A wonderful short break. Best wishes to Mr. and Mrs. Kraus! 👍😊

We had a really relaxing stay in a quiet area. The apartment was lovely, with a great kitchen, comfortable rooms, and very nice bathrooms. The landlords were so friendly. We had a wonderful time and would happily recommend it.
