Ferienwohnung im alten Waschhaus

The apartment makes a handy base for trips to the Spreewald, Lusatia, and Görlitz. Shops, a bakery, and a beverage store are all an easy walk away, and having a courtyard parking space was a real plus. Check-in was simple thanks to the key safe, and the landlord was friendly. Coffee, tea, sugar, salt, and a few other basics were provided too. It’s modern, clean, and well equipped, with good window insulation and an extra air conditioning unit, so it was quiet and comfortable. With the window open, some street noise came through. The bed was a little too soft for us, but that’s a minor quibble. We’d happily come back. The photos shown are an exact representation of the accommodation, so I don’t have any of myself this time.

The owners were very friendly, and parking was available. There’s also a small wine shop in the building. The holiday apartment was furnished beautifully and comfortably, with everything we needed.

There’s a parking space in the courtyard, and the wine shop below the apartment has outdoor courtyard seating for the evening. The apartment itself has a large, lovely balcony, plus a shower, bathtub, washing machine, and dishwasher. It has everything you could need, so I’d highly recommend it. The main intersection brings some traffic noise, even with the windows shut. It’s mostly quiet at night, though, so sleeping was fine.

The apartment was spotless and tidy, and the washing machine and vacuum cleaner were especially useful for us. We loved the location and were impressed by the furnishings and all the little details. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly return.
