We booked several rooms, but the cleanliness was far from ideal. Some toilets still had marks and remnants left by previous guests, and one room's door wouldn't lock. The next morning, the "caretaker" told us to go back to "foreigner Berlin," where we had come from. That was the worst part.

It's clean, tastefully furnished and well maintained, in a beautiful setting. A great base for bike rides and exploring the Spree-Neisse region.

The secure bike storage room was useful, and there were facilities for drying laundry. I stopped here on a cycling trip. My single room was clean and a good size, and breakfast was delicious with everything I needed.

We loved the peaceful setting and pleasant atmosphere. The rooms were clean and cozy, and breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly, too. In nice weather, the terrace is well worth using.

The mosquitoes were a huge problem, and there were no insect screens. Cleanliness was poor in both the room and bathroom. The soap dispenser leaked, and a glue stain was still there days later. Several outlets didn’t work, the TV was small and took a lot of fiddling to get going, and the curtains were hard to move. The mattresses were very hard, and the shower was cramped, with a risk of flooding for taller people. We were given the bill on arrival, before seeing the room or being able to check everything. One visit was enough for me.
