The breakfast was good, though I found it hard to identify options for restricted diets or allergies. The room also had some odd details: no vanity or coffee set, an empty minibar, an old piece of tape holding the TV remote together, and dirty liquid drips on the bathroom wall. Check-in involved a wait, and there were no key cards available, so the receptionist had to walk me to my room. Since I hadn't arrived late, I would have needed to ask them to let me in each time I wanted to use the wellness facility. I was there for one business night, and the stay fell short of what I expected, though I can imagine it might suit some occasions.

I keep coming back here off season for business, and still recommend it, although there are cheaper places around. The breakfast is the hotel's best feature: it's high quality and has pretty much everything you could want, but I think it's too expensive. The restaurant menu is small, which suits me. I had the ravioli with radicchio, and it was nicely balanced. Congratulations to the chef. With few good restaurants nearby, it's worth trying. The hotel itself is decent for the price, with big rooms that are very clean and nicely equipped.

The surroundings are beautiful, with places to walk and a decent Italian restaurant nearby. I also really liked the food and the comfortable, clean rooms, so I'd come back whenever I get the chance. The one snag was reception: staff seem to have different rules from one another. Some are friendly and keen to help, while others seem eager to get rid of you and say almost nothing can be done. It depends on who's on duty.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with tasty food and a broad choice, whether sweet or salty, healthy or not. I didn't get to eat at the hotel restaurant, so I can't rate it. On my business trip I had some very good days here. The hotel is well located and deserves its four stars. The rooms were tidy and clean, the bathroom was spacious, and bathrobes and pool slippers came as standard. The pool and saunas were fine.
