It was peaceful and quiet, with that rural feel of a typical agro-cottage. The owners were incredibly kind and friendly, and it was a very pleasant place to stay for a great price. The smaller room has a living area with two sofas, a table, chairs, a fridge, and a TV. There's a wood stove for heat, and the owner is happy to light it. The kitchen and bathroom are just outside the room. Everything was very clean and tidy, the bedding was fresh and smelled nice, and towels were provided. Getting to Hanover on a weekday takes about an hour or a little longer. The road is very good, and there are several ways to get there. The photos show the view from the bedroom. I recommend it!

The rooms were really spacious and well cared for, almost 70 square meters including a bathtub, and cost just under €30 a night. I loved the peaceful setting and scenery in and around Altenhagen. The hosts were very friendly. Thanks for the hospitality.

I've been staying here for over two months while working on a construction project nearby. It may not look like much from outside, but inside it's cozy and fine for the price. The owners are really nice, and it's easy to have a great chat with them. Highly recommended! 👌☺️

The people were very nice, and it was quiet. The house itself isn't pretty, so don't be put off by how it looks outside. But the owner became very unfriendly when I sometimes had my girlfriend with me while she was there for a spa treatment. He suddenly wanted double the price, even though we'd agreed everything correctly.

The outside appearance can be misleading. Inside, it's a beautifully renovated holiday apartment, and breakfast is included.
