The room was brilliantly clean, but the whole character and atmosphere of this hotel are what make it such a gem. I’m writing in English because this place is at international standards. As a flight attendant, I’ve stayed in thousands of hotels, and this one really stands out. The owners are the warmest, most welcoming people I’ve met in my career, and the staff are just as friendly. The self-care night lounge bar is amazing and has more than you need. Saint Peter is a special place to visit, and you need somewhere special to stay. This is that place.

I’ve never had such a warm welcome at a hotel. Check-in was thorough, with an actual tour of the breakfast room, reading and relaxation room, and bar, and explanations about each one. They also suggested hiking routes and restaurants. The service and friendliness were world-class. My tastefully furnished room and the superb breakfast rounded out the experience.

We had a wonderful weekend at Haus Godewind with dear friends and were warmly welcomed and well looked after. The rooms had everything we could wish for, and the service was outstanding. Breakfast was both delicious and plentiful. We’ll be back before Mr. Kathmeyer expects ;-)

The breakfast had everything we could want, from delicious rolls and cold cuts to yogurt, egg dishes and more. We stayed at Landhaus Godewind last weekend with our child, and the room was beautifully and comfortably furnished. Cleanliness was outstanding, and the staff were always friendly and accommodating. We can wholeheartedly recommend it and would love to come back. Thank you!

The hotel is a good choice if you’re looking for peace and quiet. We were warmly welcomed, found the rooms cozy and comfortable, and felt very much at ease. We’d love to return!
