The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. It was peaceful, too, and the breakfast spread included salmon and smoked trout. The food was outstanding. I found the price extremely fair, and the management and staff were courteous, discreet, and very good at their jobs. I've stayed at plenty of hotels, and this one has me thrilled. Keep it up, and best of luck. I'm sure others feel the same way.

The food was the standout for my wife and me. Breakfast and the à la carte dishes were both delicious, and the chef really knows his craft. It was easy to reach major tourist attractions from the wonderfully quiet location. Our room and bathroom were clean and very good, and the small size of the hotel made the stay feel personal. We'd gladly return.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the cuisine was excellent. On a weekend away, my boyfriend and I stayed at Edelhof Castle, where the innkeeper and staff made a big part of the experience by looking after us so attentively. We rarely receive care like that. Wishing the innkeepers many more successful years with their concept.

I'd happily return to the Edelhof. I stayed overnight for business and felt more comfortable there than at any hotel I've visited. There was a consistently happy atmosphere, from the other guests to the friendly staff and the personal welcome from the restaurant manager and owner. I also appreciated being upgraded to the honeymoon suite at no extra charge. The value was the best I've ever experienced. The room was clean, the staff were helpful and friendly, the breakfast was good and generous, and the restaurant was great. Its menu was unusual compared with other hotels: no SchniPo or other standard fare, but plenty of house creations, including different roulades and medieval-style dishes. It all seemed freshly made and tasted excellent. Prices were good too, with a 0.4l draft beer at €2.20. That evening I spent a long while talking with Armin at the cellar bar over a beer or two. Armin, the hotel owner and excellent restaurant chef, was a really nice guy who listened to my suggestions. I didn't have a real complaint, just a few ideas for how things could be improved.

Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with boiled, scrambled, or fried eggs made to order, and the staff were friendly and courteous. When we arrived, the owner welcomed us with a handshake. The hotel sits in a beautiful, quiet landscape, and the rooms are simply furnished but practical, with lovely old beams on the ceiling. We can wholeheartedly recommend it.
