Sitting under the Ginkgotree with a snack and beer or wine feels like peace on earth. This is a cute little hideaway right in the middle of Stadtilm, and the service was great and discreet from the welcome through to goodbye. The Studio room brings together local style and what you'd expect from an international hotel. I stayed here years ago and didn't like it. The owner told me, "we are working on it," and they really did. It's a wonderful place to stay now. All the best, and thanks for supporting my city 🙏 Andre

We found the hotel right on the Ilm Valley Cycle Path during our bike tour, which was perfect for us. The owners were super friendly and the food was delicious. We'd definitely recommend it!

Cyclists will appreciate the secure bike storage, and there's parking right outside. We also enjoyed the cozy courtyard beer garden. The hotel is modern, quiet, and has very friendly, attentive staff. Breakfast offers a great selection and is excellent. Highly recommended!

Our group of nine arrived by bike and got a very warm welcome in the lovely courtyard, where the seating was comfortable. We spent the whole evening there and, even though we hadn't ordered ahead, they made us delicious tarte flambée. Breakfast was generous and tasty. Highly recommended!
