The village is quiet, with children and dogs often around, and it’s conveniently placed near Cham, Roding, and Furth im Wald. Our log cabin was attractive and had all the essentials, with good furnishings and equipment. The village itself felt rather deserted and no longer very lively. The reception was unmanned, and the owner only appeared occasionally, often at inconvenient times. Residents can use the local natural swimming pool for free, but the water was quite cold and there wasn’t much there for children.

The holiday homes are lovely inside, furnished with care, and dogs are welcome. It’s very quiet by the forest on the edge of town. Sadly, the sauna wasn’t usable. It would have been great to have in bad weather, but it seems to need renovation.

Everything came together beautifully, from the house and furnishings to the area and all the rest. The hosts were especially friendly and always available. A real dream, and an easy five stars from us 👌.

Our Christmas stay was the best we’ve had in a long time. The cabin was lovely, the surroundings were beautiful, and the whole experience went beyond what we expected. We’d definitely come back.
