The quiet here is something else: at night, the only sound was an owl, and in the morning we had a lovely breakfast made just for us before heading out for a walk. The Villa am Stechlin has a wonderful spot between Stechlin- and Dagowsee, and the owners were friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to. Our room and apartment had so many thoughtful details. It even felt like a place from an Agatha Christie mystery, and the dog was welcome too.

Books all around, a fireplace in the main hall, and a big garden with direct access to the lake gave the place a special feel. It had the look of a villa from Babylon Berlin. Our room was beautiful, the hosts were friendly, and breakfast was great.

We had a wonderful week here. The place feels family-run, and breakfast offered plenty of variety. It was so peaceful and relaxing, just lovely!

We spent January 1 at this hotel, and it was definitely the right choice. The place has such great taste in every detail, from the furniture to the whole atmosphere. The hosts were very kind and made us feel at home. Breakfast was generous, and the staff member who served us was really attentive. We asked for a gluten-free breakfast if possible, and they were able to accommodate us. It really deserves five stars. We could bring our dog too, and we’ll definitely be back. I can only recommend it.
