The lake is less than 50 m away, and I had an amazing diving experience there. It's a cozy weekend spot at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

We came here for freediving with our own gear and only needed a parking spot. It was around 16:40 or 16:45 on Saturday, and the listed closing time was 18:00. Three of the five staff members seemed visibly upset and negative that we were speaking English. The first person made what felt like deliberate efforts to get us to leave. When the owner, who looked like a walrus, told us they were closing soon, more than an hour before the posted time, he wouldn't even look our way. No one checked our credentials, though we are certified SCUBA and Apnea divers. So all I can do is guess why people were so negative: maybe because we don't speak German, because we freedive, or both. Anyway, I can only recommend this place as a reserve for a rare breed of certain species that still exist in Brandenburg after all the turmoils of the 20th century, if that's your thing.

A great place to dive, and the dive base is really good too. Some staff don't speak English, but we usually manage with a mix of English and German.
