Pension Stechlinsee

Neuglobsow is wonderfully quiet, especially at night when you can't hear a thing. I had the forest and lake to myself during my mid-November visit to Lake Stechlin, and really enjoyed the peace and walking around there. It's a place to find some calm and yourself. I was the only guest at the guesthouse, but they still made me feel very welcome and were attentive and helpful. The breakfast was exceptionally generous. My room was clean and sufficient, if not large. You can take drinks from the lobby and pay on the honor system. The place still has a little of the old FDGB (Free German Trade Union Federation) holiday-home character, which didn't bother me at all. Since every restaurant in town was closed, I ate in Fürstenberg or Rheinsberg.

We had an unforgettable choir camp here, and we'd love to come back. The relaxed feel by beautiful Lake Stechlin makes it easy to feel at home, whether you're into Fontane, Strittmatter, or Hausmeister Krause. Thank you!

For our one-night booking we got a really warm welcome. The rooms were very clean and practically furnished, and there are drinks and snacks available any time.
