We had a great time talking with the owners, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained. Set in quiet, beautiful surroundings, it's a lovely base for hikes or a city break in nearby Freiburg.

We loved the views from our room and the chance to get away from the city. It's a cozy spot in nature, and the owner is so nice and makes a good breakfast. We were here in Dec, so the town was sleepy.

Our car broke down, and a lovely woman went out of her way to help with the repairs, make things easier for us, and translate into German. The room was spotless and the bedding comfortable too. It's a charming hotel, go without hesitation!

The hosts made us feel completely at ease and gave us great tips for hiking trails. Their warmth and hospitality really stood out, and we had a wonderful time. The room was lovely, everything spotless, the beds comfortable, and breakfast delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly, too. The location is idyllic and peaceful, with mountain views, a short drive from Freiburg, and a central spot for visiting various attractions. We highly recommend this family-run hotel and will definitely return.

The lovely owners and top-notch breakfast were highlights! The house was once their grandmother's farm and has been completely renovated. You're surrounded by nature, yet only 15 minutes from Freiburg, a paradise. If you come to the Black Forest in Germany, I wouldn't stay in the city. I recommend it!
