The guest house is right beside the Castle, which is well worth touring. It's a comfortable old place with modern touches, and I'd happily stay again or recommend it to anyone following the Brothers Grimm trail or visiting for another reason. We arrived on the evening of Sept. 4, 2019, and found it closed, with a phone number on the door. The owner came over promptly, let us in, and got us settled. There was no food service that Tuesday evening because Wednesday was their day off, so we found a good meal down the street at the Rosegarten. The next morning, they made a wonderful breakfast for the four of us and another couple who also hadn't realized it was their day off. Their little shop has excellent local mustard. We wished we could bring some home, but managed to use it all before leaving.
