Hotel Brößler

I've stayed here many times, and the staff are extremely nice. Breakfast is really good, and the restaurant food is good too. The location is nice, though trains may be noisy in some rooms in the main building. In the rooms across the road, I didn't hear them, or they didn't bother me. My room was quite small but okay. The bed wasn't comfortable for a big guy like me, and there was one huge pillow with no spare. I guess I could have asked for another.

The kitchen is really good, and the hotel and rooms are nice and clean.

Our car broke down on the highway, and after the trailer dropped us at the nearest volvo garage, someone there called a taxi to this hotel. The lady initially said they didn't have a room available for three, but after about 20 minutes, she saw how tired we were from driving all night and offered us two rooms, one with double beds and one with a single bed, for the same price. The breakfast was good, and the place is quiet. Everyone was extremely friendly.

The restaurant is cosy in the evenings, with exceptionally nice food served by professionals. Breakfast is a highlight too, with a beautifully set table that's always full, a huge choice of morning food, and some of the tastiest coffee you could imagine. Staff are very friendly and always willing to accommodate requests. The old family hotel has a good atmosphere and a sense of tradition and quality. Art around the hotel changes with the seasons and holidays. Even though the rooms are old, they're always perfectly clean and ready to use. The price is average for the region. We've stayed in many hotels across Germany, and Brößler wins every time.
