We were very happy with our room in the annex behind the main building. It was spacious, and the beds were soft but comfortable. There’s a stream behind the hotel that makes a soothing sound at night. The hotel is in central Stolberg, and the staff were friendly and accommodating enough to make us want to return. We probably will.

The service was great, and breakfast had a lot of choice, including local food. The hotel spa was clean and good, with a huge pool. It’s on the main square of a beautiful old town that’s lovely to walk around and well preserved. An amazing place to stay!

Nice place with great food and friendly, helpful staff. There’s no air conditioning. If your room faces the street, forget getting much sleep unless you shut all the windows and put up with the warm, stagnant air.

The pool is the crown jewel here. Look for the six buttons on the wall below the water surface. Each one does something different, and it’s amazing. We didn’t want to leave the pool. This was one of the best hotels I stayed at during my three-week trip through Germany. The restaurant food and breakfast were great, and the town is as good as Rothenburg but less busy.
