The building is on a street, but nights are quiet and there’s no traffic noise. The guesthouse has what you need: spacious enough rooms, clean and tidy interiors, well-kept bathrooms, and a fairly well-equipped large kitchen with a microwave and fridge.
We’re staying in the triple room at the alternative address, Konrad-Adenauer-Strasse 221, on the first floor. There are two adults and our six-year-old child. €45 a night seemed reasonable, and we expected to be able to sleep. Instead, someone downstairs has the TV turned extremely loud, apparently all night. It’s 2:47 a.m. as I write this, after being awake since 5:30 yesterday morning, and this is only the first of two nights. Night two has started, and the same very loud TV is still going. I can’t tell exactly where it is, but it’s coming from below. We’d already complained, yet customer satisfaction doesn’t seem to matter here. If you want to avoid trouble and get some sleep during an overnight stay, stay away from this place!!!!

Never again. It’s noisy because the place is on the main road, the bathrooms are upstairs under the roof, and there isn’t a toilet in the room. The price is cheap, but with all those drawbacks it feels like a rip-off. You only find out at check-in that payment has to be in cash.
The staff were really friendly, and the accommodation was lovely, with a large kitchen. A very pleasant stay for a good price. Highly recommended :-)
