Our one-bedroom apartment was far bigger than I expected. Every room was generously sized, and the whole place felt really luxurious, almost like a penthouse suite.

Such a peaceful spot, and the standard throughout was really high. Great place.

We felt very comfortable here, even though the internet and Wi-Fi were almost nonexistent. With four people, a second toilet would also have helped; a few times things got a bit tight. Still, the apartment, "das altenteil," was lovely and cozy, with everything we needed. And the garden was wonderful, more like a park, with mature trees and masses of flowers.

The quiet, the sunsets, and the starry sky on clear nights made our stay especially enjoyable. We had an apartment in the bakery, where dog bowls and a basket were waiting as a warm welcome. After being shown around, we found everything we needed, including a spacious bathroom, kitchen, and bedrooms. There was loads of room, plus a fenced area outside the complex where our dog could run freely. The rest of the grounds were beautiful and well kept, and the staff were very friendly and helpful whenever we had questions. Highly recommended.
