Ferienapartment Am Kütertor

The location makes it easy to explore the city and get to the sights on foot. The apartment is lovely, comfortable, and beautifully furnished. We'd be happy to come back.

The apartment "Störtebecker" is right in the old town, with shops, restaurants, bakeries, and the harbor all easy to reach on foot. It mostly served its purpose, and the bedroom was the most attractive room visually; the kitchen was presentable too. There are things that could be improved. The pillows were poor quality, with flattened filling, and weren't suitable for sleeping, so they should be replaced. For a one-week stay, one dishwasher tablet and a single garbage bag in the small bin weren't enough; three tablets and four or five bags would make more sense. The shabby chic furniture, or rather the imitation version, didn't feel upscale and was sometimes uncomfortable. The living room also lacked attention to detail, and a nice picture on the bare wall would help. The coffee machine is long outdated in looks and function and urgently needs replacing. Cleanliness was generally okay. Overall, it was satisfactory, but there's room for improvement.

The old town setting beside the Kütertor gate is a big part of the appeal. I've stayed at the Störtebeker Apartment twice now, both times for work, and it feels like home. It's fairly new and everything is clean and lovely. I'd happily come back as a tourist when that's possible again.

The place felt neglected: the terrace was dirty, there was dust behind the sofa, crumbs in the toaster, and the bathroom drawer wasn't clean. The shower had limescale and the bathroom mirror was rusty. The furniture is very dated, and the person I spoke with on the phone was very rude.
