A small, pleasant family hotel with a bit of a retro look. It's quiet around there. If golden bathroom taps are a must for you, this probably isn't the place 🤣

It's an okay place, though I felt it was a little expensive for what I paid. The reception had a strong cigarette smell, and the beds weren't especially comfortable. Still, in general, it wasn't a bad stay.

The stay itself was okay, but leaving was a very different experience. The owner tried to charge our group more than the amount quoted in the email. When I showed it to her, she said we'd been given the wrong price and still pushed for more money. She was extremely unfriendly, rude, and condescending. Her customer service spoiled our short, otherwise lovely time in Straubing. Next trip, I'd choose Wenisch or another four-star hotel in town for just 10€ more. Such a shame.
