The food is good, the service is good, and the beer garden area is nice, with quick servers. There's a daily theme, so it's worth checking what's on. The all-you-can-eat buffet is great, and meat is their specialty, so I usually go for steak or burgers. The pulled chicken burger I tried was good, but nothing special. I've been on different nights with different themes, and those visits were better overall. Parking can be tricky. It's a good pick, though in Straubing you can find better food if you're after a specific kind of meal.

The dining restaurant has a lively feel, great ambience, delicious food, traditional Bavarian style, and a modern touch with glass. The beer garden is nice too. Staff are particularly friendly. The rooms are quite small, but clean and newly renovated, so it's a good spot for a night or two while visiting Straubing or passing through.

The staff were friendly, and both the hotel and its restaurant and biergarten were very nice. The restaurant was excellent.

The restaurant downstairs was a real highlight, with delicious food, good beer, and nice music. It also serves as a kind of late-night meeting place in town. At the hotel, the rooms were very comfortable, the internet was really good, and the facilities were nice. Everyone was consistently kind, gentle, and helpful. A great place to stay in Straubing.
